The Ohio University Philosophy Forum, now in entering its 14th year, gives students the opportunity to study recent work of famous philosophers, followed by three days of intensive seminar and discussion with the author.  The Forum has brought to campus Robert Nozick, Daniel Dennett, Hilary Putnam, Alasdair MacIntyre, Cora Diamond, Arthur Fine, Simon Blackburn, Susan Haack, Julia Annas, Lynne Rudder Baker, and T. M. Scanlon.  The 2007 Forum was given by Michael Williams of Johns Hopkins University.
